BY SHAILESH SINGH Revisiting the role of HR in CSR ROLE OF HR IN CSRI orporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has got lot of attention during the last couple of years after the Companies Act, 2013 made it mandatory for profit making Indian companies to spend two per cent of their average Profit before Tax for the last three financial years on CSR. The Act also made it mandatory to set up a Board committee to review and approve annual CSR Policy of the company and monitor the progress on the same.
