There is incomparable merit in leveraging business experience for human resources advantage – and vice versa.
Many things come to mind when one thinks of how one’s experience in managing businesses can be of great advantage in human resources leadership, but to me the core of the learning opportunity, if we see this as a learning opportunity, lies in a very simple reality. That simple reality is the way business leaders look at human resources, which is often a sharp contrast from the way in which human resources leaders look at business.
