HR does contribute to the bottomline, research data proves.
The title may seem crazy and a bit of ridicule also ! Initial responses will be “HR and bottomline relationship, question does not arise”; “HR and its contribution to profitability, no way”; “Aren’t we talking about people whose main job is to collect job applications, send people for training, do hotel booking, tell people about benefits and arrange picnics, gifts etc…”. Their role in the organization has nothing to do with profits or profitability or productivity. “Be serious!” But contrary to popular opinion, research proves otherwise.
