Branch International Achieves 48% Women Workforce Representation In India

Branch International has achieved 48 per cent women workforce representation in India.

 

Two out of the three country heads of Branch International are women with Sucheta Mahapatra leading the team in India. It is particularly noteworthy that the representation of women across companies is remarkable with critical teams like the credit team having 100 per cent women.

 

Around 50 per cent of the product team and 27 per cent of the engineering team have women representation - a figure that is leaps and bounds higher than the market aspirations of 20 per cent in other technology-first companies.

 

Branch International offers flexibility in terms of maternity leave where women employees can choose to exercise the days of leave in any manner. Maternity leave can be coupled with the gender-neutral unlimited leave policy to make sure there is ample time for parent-child bonding. Branch International has also a very strong focus on mothers coming back to the workforce, offering flexible work from home policies wherein they can set their own work hours. Branch International's commitment also reflects in its hiring process. It has designed its hiring process to ensure 50 per cent of the qualified candidates.
