Rajiv Lochan To Be Next Managing Director Of Sundaram Finance 

 

Non-banking finance company Sundaram Finance, Chennai headquartered, has appointed Rajiv Lochan as its next managing director (MD), effective from April 1, 2021.

 

Lochan will replace the current MD TT Srinivasaraghavan, when he completes his term of office on March 31, 2021. He also retires from service after almost 4 decades with the firm in which he served as MD for 18 years.

 

Before being chosen as MD of Sundaram Finance, Lochan worked as a partner in the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, and most recently, as Managing Director of Kasturi & Sons. The decision has been taken at its board meeting. Apart from Rajiv Lochan's appointment, Sundaram Finance Ltd's board announced other appointments too.

 

Deputy Managing Director Harsha Viji will be Executive Vice Chairman and take responsibility for the overall strategy and direction of the company. Also, Director (Operations) AN Raju will serve as Deputy Managing Director of the company. 

 

Meanwhile, Srinivasaraghavan will remain on the board and play a mentorship role, the firm informed.
