EY to Hire 9,000 Professionals in 2021 With STEM Background

Ernst & Young Services is planning to hire 9,000 new workforces in India in 2021 across various roles in its member firms.

 

The new joinees will be from the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) background including areas like artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, analytics, and other emerging technologies. EY, a Global professional services organisation, has more than 50,000 employees working in all its firms including global delivery centers. At present, 36 per cent of all EY India employees belong to the STEM background.

 

The company is developing a wide spectrum of new digital proprietary solutions and is planning to scale them across countries and geographies. To be able to deliver customised digital solutions and services to their clients in their transformational journey, the company is amping up its hires.

 

EY adopts an overall balanced holistic approach to digital transformation scenario and rising innovations buried in all its services and sectors, which includes many proprietary digital tools such as EY Asterisk (a supply chain planning solutions) and EY Symphony (integrated governance, risk, controls, compliance platform).
