Pioneering Ventures Appoints Yashasvini Kumar as Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Pioneering Ventures has appointed Yashasvini Kumar as Group General Counsel (GGC) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). She will be based out of both Mumbai and Switzerland and will continue her duties as Co-CEO of Pioneering Ventures India.
Kumar, an integral part of the PV India team since 2017, has been critical in ensuring a seamless corporate consolidation and restructuring of the PV group. As Chief Legal Officer for PV India, she was instrumental in building HR, Legal and compliance functions into robust self-sustainable units.
In her new role, she will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, direction and assistance on various legal, regulatory, compliance and business matters across a geographic footprint of three continents and eight countries.

Kumar graduated from NALSAR and has 11 years of professional experience. Before joining PV, she was a lawyer with Platinum Partners and the M&A team in Trilegal, two of India’s leading law firms. Peter Ackermann, PV’s outgoing General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, will move to the role of Strategic Advisor
