Sanofi India has named Vaibhav Karandikar as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from October 6, 2020.
The company said in a filing, “We would like to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting has approved the appointment of Mr. Vaibhav Karandikar as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel with effect from 6th October 2020.”
Karandikar is a Chartered Accountant, a Company Secretary and a Cost Accountant and has 25 years experience across various domains in finance.
He joined Sanofi in April 2007 in Accounting & Taxation function. In his most recent role, he was Head of Controlling for the General Medicines Business.
Before Sanofi, Karandikar was associated with Sandoz India as Senior Manager - Finance & Company Secretary.
