Similarly- programs like Hum Hai 3M at 3M India prove that the best way to promote a brand is through its people- by aligning them with a shared vision. But challenges remain. Employee engagement sits at the heart of it all. From quality circles at Tata Motors’ Nano plant to Sapient’s Vox platform- or Infosys’ InfyBubble network- the lesson is simple: engaged employees create engaged customers. And let’s not forget the bigger themes — diversity at GE- inclusion at Cisco- flexible work ecosystems- succession planning- and executive coaching for leaders. All of these show that HR is no longer just operational. It is strategic- creative- and central to business success.
