There is no shortage of talent
There have been several news reports about lack of skilled manpower across industries and yet many ’employable’ people are out of jobs. I strongly feel that availability of talent in India is by far more than any other country. The talent is to be first bifurcated into two parts – one who pass out of Institute and the second who are available with experience. While there is a definite surplus and all industry use this pool in building talent pipeline by selecting them through a process and then carefully nurturing them to meet their future requirement. From a batch of say 60 mechanical engineers of a particular institute, they go in IT, manufacturing, service and other such different industries.
