Capozzi takes a leap from Boeing to become McDonald's Global CPO

Heidi Capozzi is departing from the aerospace giant Boeing as Senior Vice President of Human Resources to join the food giant McDonald’s Corporation as its Executive Vice President and Global Chief People Officer. She will be in the new role effective April 13 2020 at the Chicago headquarter in the West Loop.

 

Her new accountability will cover McDonald’s global operations of the Human Resources Department. Some of the areas to work on are talent management, diversity and inclusion, rewards and recognition and corporate employee relations.

 

Capozzi started with Boeing as an HR Director in 2009 and took on the present role in 2016. In Boeing, she drove the organization to be an employer of choice globally by creating a world-class Human Resources team. She was involved in strengthening the organization’s culture, developing leadership and inspiring people to support the business.
