EdCast launched the first edition of the EdCast Learning Health Index (LHI) Research 2019 in India with an aim to identify areas of excellence and opportunities for improving learning health within organizations. LHI scores would help benchmark the organization vis-a-vis its comparators.
The LHI is based on a framework built on eight primary dimensions of learning that contribute to an organization’s learning health. The framework includes a self-assessment tool built from an HR and L&D practitioner's point of view, covering key aspects that define a healthy learning organization.
LHI is a survey based tool that enables organizations to benchmark themselves with their peers to ascertain their comparative standing in their industry and market. A comprehensive analysis of the relative health across eight dimensions indicates the overall Learning Health of the organization. Relative scores would help organizations benchmark themselves against others in their industry and move the needle to improve their ‘Learning Health’.
Mr. Nishchae Suri, President Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa at EdCast shared: “We are pleased to announce the launch of Learning Health Index (LHI) Research—a collaborative research on Learning Health of organisations in India. It’s a first of its kind initiative in India that aims to provide key insights on the overall health of learning and development (L&D) in India. Learning Health is an organization’s ‘collective ability’ to Learn. Today, organizations are rethinking their overall capability building approach to make their employees future ready, enhance performance and drive collaborative innovation. Learning and development is now more critical than ever to any organization’s long-term success.”
Insights and best practices from experienced L&D and HR professionals from selected organizations will also be presented in the Learning Health Index Research Report, to be published jointly by EdCast and its partners - NSE Academy, Accenture, Human Capital and DeakinCo.
