Garage Society, a Hong Kong-based co-working space operator has announced two key appointments to further strengthen its Indian leadership team and support the company's growth journey.
Nishant Goyal has been roped in as Director of Operations and Surabhi Verma as Director of Commerce.
Goyal brings over 12 years of experience in managing business operations and meeting strategic growth objectives. He will be looking after the management operations including Accounts, business operations, facility management, IT, procurement, project management and overall human resources at Garage Society. Prior to this, he was associated with Electrotherm India Limited and has also worked with other similar organisations.
Verma has more than decade's experience in handling client ecosystems and driving business strategy. At Garage Society, she will be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships, handling sales and initiating new value-add services for members. She is an Indian School of Business (ISB) graduate and joins Garage Society from WeWork.
In her earlier stints, Verma worked with Zomato, KPMG and NowFloats in her earlier stints.
"We are thrilled to have such experienced minds join our diverse team Garage Society. Nishant and Surabhi's managerial skills and knowledge will bring an advantage to our current growth momentum. This year we are further going to strengthen our presence and leverage the opportunities to come" said Prashant Garg, Country Manager, Garage Society India.
Commenting on his appointment, Nishant Goyal, Director, Operations stated, "I was impressed with Garage Society's vision to foster a community through collaboration and sharing. I look forward to working with the diverse and talented team that Garage Society has built. It is a productive and collaborative work culture and I look forward to contributing to the company's growth by setting up an integrated and successful service delivery model."
Surabhi Verma, Director, Commerce added, I was drawn to Garage Society's customer-centricity and its consistent endeavour to enhance the member experience. Garage's flexible approach and ability to develop bespoke solutions to adequately address member's requirement, rather than a 'one-size fits all' program is unique. Their meteoric growth in year 1 is extremely impressive and I look forward to adding value to an already cutting-edge strategic vision."
