Licious has named Naveen Kumar Nerlaje as the head of human resources. He is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of experience in various facets of Human resources Management.
Nerlaje comes with a very strong experience in shaping the organisational culture, nurturing progressive employee relations and talent & organisational development. He also brings a diverse industry experience by virtue of various stints he had with reputed companies spread across Automobile, FMCG and Retail industries.
Prior to joining Licious, Nerlaje was associated with Tata Starbucks as its Director of Partner Resources. He has also worked with some of the renowned names in India Inc, including Hindustan Unilever where he was associated for nearly 10 years, Nestle India, and Toyota India. Naveen will be heading all functions under the human resources umbrella and will be responsible towards shaping the people agenda to enable growth and scale up.
Commenting on the new appointment, Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta, Co-Founders, Licious said, "Naveen has quite literally hit the ground running! He joined us at a very crucial juncture when we were trying hard to achieve the delicate balance between safeguarding our team's health & wellbeing & supplementing business growth through existing and upcoming workforce. In very little time, Naveen has led our human resources team into achieving the near perfect equilibrium. An industry veteran, he has put the company's mission into action. We look forward to scaling greater heights under his able leadership."
Nerlaje stated, "I came to be part of the Licious family just as the new normal set in! Keeping the workforce motivated and aligned with the changing realities of work and life is the biggest challenge today. I am delighted to see the commitment towards the brand, customer experience and people experience and the natural enthusiasm that binds the team together, even as most of us are working remotely. It is heartening to be part of the company culture that is conducive to collaboration in the true sense. I am excited to be part of the Licious journey and build a truly legendary brand and the organisation, along with some of the best minds in the business."
