Educational Initiatives (EI) has announced the appointment of Garima Gupta as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Gupta will play a pivotal role as part of the senior management team at Educational Initiatives. She brings a breadth of cross-industry experience of more than 16 years in strategic financial planning and managing investor relations.
Before joining Educational Initiatives, Gupta was the Chief Financial Officer at Runnr, which got acquired by Zomato.
Gupta is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in leading multinational companies such as Bharti Airtel, Sony, Genpact and start-ups Nxtra Data, Runnr. Her previous stint at various companies in diverse roles that she led, involved financial planning & analysis, business reporting, strategy, and investor relations.
At EI, she will also oversee financial planning and reporting, accounting, controls, taxation, audits and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Garima will manage internal & external stakeholder relationships and allocation of the company’s capital.
