Nilesh Mitra, has joined ITC Hotels as the new Vice President, Talent Management.
He is a Human Resource professional with more than 25 years of work experience in the Hotel industry.
Mitra will oversee Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance & Career Management and Workforce Productivity. He will report to Sanjay Bose, HR Head for Hotels Division of ITC.
Prior to this, he pursued his passion for setting up an NGO, moved briefly to Scotland to look after the global HR operations of a hotel chain and also worked as an independent HR consultant.
Mitra began his journey with the Taj Group of Hotels, later moved to Radisson Hotels, where he stayed for nearly 17 years.
Mitra holds a diploma in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management, New Delhi and master’s in business administration from SMU, India.
Following this, Mitra pursued an advanced programme in strategic management from IIM Indore. He also successfully completed the General Management Accreditation Programme at Minneapolis and Omaha, USA.
