Ernst & Young to hire 23,000 people in FY20

In a bid to increase its workforce strength in India, Consulting and accountancy giant Ernst & Young (E&Y), will hire more than 23,000 professionals in the financial year 2020. 
 

As per the media reports, EY has already hired about 11,000 professionals and it will recruit another 12,000 by June 30 next year as the company follows July to June financial year. 

 

The London-based global firm will be hiring for its Global Delivery Service (GDS) centres and member firms.

 

Earlier in September this year, E&Y had announced its plan to recruit around 14,000 employees for its GDS centres in India aiming to scale up the technology and consultancy services delivery network in the country.

 

Recently, EY has launched a mobile platform named  EY STEM Tribe in India, to help girls in 13-18 years age group engage in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) curriculum and pursue high-growth careers.

 

India is the first country to launch the global initiative that will provide an entertaining and gamified STEM learning experience to over 6,000 girls in Delhi NCR.
