Abacus.AI to Set up R&D Centre, Hire 200 by 2024

Abacus.AI is set to establish its research and development (R&D) centre in Mumbai, at a cost of $50 million. Initially it will hire about 20 engineers and scientists at first but by 2024, it aims to have at least a 200-strong workforce in place.

 

The Centre will assist small and large firms to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) through its cloud AI platform outfitted to take care of all facets of machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) at scale. It also offers end-to-end autonomous AI services that can be customised.

 

India is home to talented software engineers as well as AI enthusiasts and experts and the Company is confident of being able to expand and fulfil its talent needs here. Its AI platform will offer customers and organisations the flexibility and opportunity to expand their AI infrastructure.

 

Abacus.AI has set up shop in India at a time when organisations across the world are adopting AI, ML, deep learning and cloud computing in an effort to economise operations and improve efficiency. Abacus.AI’s platform allows data science teams the flexibility to plug and play their own models.
