Marriott Names Ty Breland as Executive VP & CHRO

Marriott International has roped in Ty Breland as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). 


Breland has held various senior roles with the Marriott spanning corporate and continent responsibilities. 

 

Since 2016, Breland has served as Global HR Officer for talent development and organisational capability. 

 

In this role, he will be responsible for talent management, leadership development, organisational capability and change management. 

 

Breland also oversees The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, including its business strategy and sales efforts, and serves as the senior Human Resources leader for the company’s Global Development, Design and Operations Services disciplines.
