Wat-a-Burger Announces Hiring Plans

Wat-a-Burger has announced hiring plans to reach a benchmark of more than 600 employees in the first two quarters of the new fiscal year.

 

Majority of the hiring would be in the technology and management team. The announcement follows the aggressive expansion of the chain announced by the brand in Maharashtra and Karnataka.

 

The brand currently boasts manpower of over 300 employees.

 

Recently, the burger chain has appointed Rahul Kumar as its Operations Head. As the Operations head of the F&B Chain he will be taking the responsibility of streamlining functions, increasing output, merging tech with day-to-day operations etc. The appointment comes in line with the hiring plans of the brand wherein it is working towards strengthening its operations and tech team.

 

Rahul comes with 9 years of rich experience in the field of operations. He has worked with prestigious brands such as Haldiram, California Burrito , Freshmenu, Foodcraft and Mc Donald's. With the relevant experience, Rahul plans to scale the operations and enhance the internal functioning at the chain.

 

Kumar said "Wat-a-Burger is aggressively looking at implementing automation as the core of the entire model. It has been executing the automation solutions internally to make the procedures more seamless and precise. In the startup F&B space there is more acceptance of technology, in fact it is a preference now. This opportunity shall allow me to explore the same, implementing new ideas and multiplying the outcome."
