ASDM To Connect Service Providers & Service Seekers

Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) has launched an app to bring service providers and service seekers together for ease of business. The mobile app called ‘QG Daksha’ was recently launched by the Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary.

QG Daksha app has been developed by Inventbee Innovations Pvt. Ltd. and Quick Ghy Pvt. Ltd, both Guwahati-based start-ups.

After the launch, the Patowary tweeted, "Launched QG DAKSHA Mobile App, a unique initiative of @asdm_social in partnership with “Quick Ghy” to provide a platform to Service Providers and Service Seekers. Also had the pleasure of interacting with successfully trained youths."

The Minister hoped that the app will play the role of a job aggregator for employment generation for the local youth of Assam and help them find suitable job opportunities thereby creating a community of skilled resources.

The mobile application stands for Digital Access to Knowledge and Skilled Human Resource of Assam. DAKSHA is envisioned as a multi-faceted app to bring all the stakeholders to a single platform. It will work like a service calling app and is designed to offer services at your doorstep like Electricians, Beauticians and so on. Apart from that, aspiring students can register for training programs using the mobile app. This app will also facilitate real-time monitoring of training centres online. The app has many more features intended to connect the industry with skilled human resources.
