Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently inaugurated ‘Rozgar Utsav’ in Bhopal as part of the state governments efforts to generate employment to tide over the battering of the pandemic and the subsequent job losses.
The CM informed people of the efforts the government has been making to boost the economy - like increasing developmental works, distributing salaries to govt employees, training youth, infrastructure development, investments in agriculture, food processing, and horticulture.
The govt is also working on promoting local products and has organised more than 100 job fairs to provide employment to one lakh youth.
It was also informed that six thousand young people will be upskilled at the Global Skill Park in the capital city and plans are underway to impart training to 10 thousand youths every year. The skill park, to be built by 2022 is being touted to be of international level skill park, The construction had been stopped due to the pandemic has now been restarted.
