Toyota Kirloskar Motor Partners With Government of India To Skill Youth

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) recently announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to skill and upskill youth.

The program, under the Flexi-MoU Scheme of the Government of India, is titled "Toyota Koushalya" and will focus on training students at the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI).

The institute will offer skills to youth from economically weaker sections of the society in rural Karnataka. TKM, under the Flexi-MoU scheme, has been identified as Industrial Training Provider (ITP) for developing skilled human resources for companies in the manufacturing industry and first-time entrepreneurs.

It has been reported that the Flexi-MoU scheme will cater to the needs of not only the industry and but also the trainees and allows companies to train potential candidates according to the requisite skill. It also offers trainees with an industry environment connected to the demands in the market and world-class technology.
