96 Companies offer 316 Jobs To IGDTUW Students; Highest Salary Package Rs 59.45 lakh

The Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), in a recently conducted third convocation of its graduating students, informed that 96 companies offered 316 jobs to more than 450 graduating students of the college. The highest salary package was of Rs 59.45 lakh.  

 

Degrees were conferred to the 487 students which included 359 graduates, 119 postgraduates and nine PhD scholars. It was noteworthy that 200 female students are pursuing their PhD degrees currently in the university.

 

The graduating class received 316 fulltime job offers and 189 internship offers.

 

THE Lt Gov of Delhi,  Anil Baijal, in a message said, "am happy that the University has developed sustainable systems and state-of-the-art infrastructure to enable the students to become the future leaders, managers, researchers and productive team players in the field of science, technology and management. I am certain that the graduates from IGDTUW will envision and perform these roles for the transformation of the society and progress of the country. To be able to effectively achieve this each graduating student should keep the baton of knowledge and conscience glowing all the time."
