Air India's regional subsidiary Alliance Air has appointed Harpreet A De Singh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
With this, Singh has become the first woman to lead a scheduled passenger Indian carrier. She is currently serving as Air India's Executive Director for Flight Safety.
AI Chairman and Managing Director Rajiv Bansal said in a press release, “Singh will hold the charge of Alliance Air CEO post till further orders."
Captain Nivedita Bhasin will be the First Executive director of Flight Safety.
