40% Women Prefer Flexible Working Options in Post-COVID World: Survey

More than 40 per cent women professionals consider ‘flexible options that allow a certain amount of work from home’ in the post-COVID world according to the JobsForHer survey.

The survey found that the option of remote working and/or visiting the office only when required is the best one according to respondents as they adapt to the changing corporate world and family needs.

The online career platform for women recently conducted a survey of over 1,000 women professionals and job seekers.

The findings also revealed that about 90 per cent women are comfortable with a virtual hiring process as it saves time and is convenient because it opens up plenty other opportunities to attend interviews at otherwise far-away locations thereby cutting down on the commute.

Neha Bagaria, Founder & CEO, JobsForHer, said in a press statement, “This in tandem with the 62 per cent increase in job applications that JobsForHer saw on its platform between April and July and a 55 per cent average increase in the number of work-from-home jobs posted by companies. We hope to see more companies hire capable women professionals to fill their roles in the coming months”.
