Aarogya Setu has launched a new feature ‘Open API Service’ will facilitate organisations to get the health status of their employees or other users.
According to the Ministry of Electronics and IT, the service can be availed by organizations and business entities, registered in India with 50 plus employees, to query the Aarogya Setu Application in real-time and get health status of employees or other Aarogya Setu Users, who have given their consent for the same
The new feature will help people, businesses and the economy to return to normalcy, and aims to address the fear/risk of COVID-19 pandemic.
No other personal data shall be provided through the API service. Registration for the new service can be done at openapi.aarogyasetu.gov.in.
