IFFCO Tokio elevates Anamika Roy Rashtrawar as MD & CEO

IFFCO Tokio General Insurance has elevated Anamika Roy Rashtrawar as its MD & CEO.

 

Prior to this, Rashtrawar was whole-time director with IFFCO Tokio General Insurance, which she had joined in June 2018.

 

Rashtrawar took over from Warendra Sinha, who retired from the company after leading for the last three years.

 

A postgraduate in English from Kolkata University, Rashtrawar has more than three decades of experience in the industry and has served in the both public and private sector general insurance firms.

 

She is also a fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter from The Institutes, USA.

 

US Awasthi, MD, IFFCO, expressed confidence that Rashtrawar will take the private general insurer to the next level of performance in terms of sustained growth, customer service, and profitability.

 

Commenting on Rashtrawar’s appointment  Satoru Komiya, President and Group CEO, Tokio Marine Holdings, stated “We are excited that Rashtrawar, a professional with 30-year industry experience, will lead one of our most important joint ventures.

 

“I am confident that she will continue building the company and position IFFCO Tokio as the leading general insurer in the Indian market”, She added.
