Industry veteran D.S Rawat has been re-appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Bharti Infratel.
The Board of Directors of the Company, has appointed Rawat for a period of up to six months i.e. w.e.f. April 1, 2020, up till September 30, 2020, or up till the ensuing Arumal General Meeting of the firm, whichever is earlier.
Rawat is part of Bharti Infratel since 2010. He is also a member of the Executive Council Committee of Tower and Infrastructure Providers Association (TAIPA) and the Northern Regional Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Rawat has more than 25 years of Telecom in-depth experience in handling P&L, technology, rollouts, and regulatory interfaces - both from operator and supplier perspective.
In his earlier stints, he has worked with leading telecom companies such as Ericsson and Huawei.
