Harley-Davidson Inc is planning to cut 500 jobs this year as part of its new strategic plan.

The company has branded its job cuts and restructuring plan as 'The Rewire'.

The american motorcycle major has also announced that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) John Olin has resigned with immediate effect. Darrell Thomas, treasurer, will become interim chief financial officer.
