Welspun India has named Rajendra Mehta as its new president and CHRO.
In his new role, Mehta will responsble for HR function of the Company, as well as its subsidiaries, which includes, Welspun Advanced Textiles, Welspun Retails, Welspun Floorings and Welspun Global Brands.
Last month, Rajesh Padmanabhan had stepped down as Welspun's group CHRO.
Prior to joining Welspun, Mehta was the executive director and chief people officer at Synergy Capital.
Mehta has 25 years of experience in the HR domain. He holds a master’s degree in personnel management from JDC Bytco Institute of Management Studies and Research, Nashik.
