Myntra gets Raghu Krishnananda as its new CTO

Flipkart owned Myntra has brought Raghu Krishnananda as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on the seat vacant for a few months.

 

Raghu has a rich experience of over two decades, leading research and development teams in the US and India for Citibank and Yahoo. He is known for bringing engaging consumer experiences at Yahoo on its home page and entertainment websites. He is taking the leadership role in Myntra after leaving behind his position as the Head of Service Platforms at Samsung Research Institute, Bengaluru.

 

Amar Nagaram, Head of Myntra, said, “Technology is the backbone of Myntra and plays an important role in shaping our proposition. Being a fashion-based e-commerce platform capturing major online share of the country, our larger emphasis is on consumer engagement through content, with technology as the enabler.” He further asserted that “Raghu brings his vast experience in the domain and his tech-expertise will add strength and innovation to lead the industry and fetch value addition to our valued customers”.
